Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film My Oxford Year. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires EverywhereLisa Frankenstein, KAOSLady Chatterley’s Lover, Physical, Call Jane, The OfferHitpig!). Also included is Laura Welsh’s original song Make It Happen, which has previously been released as a digital single earlier this week. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. My Oxford Year is directed by Iain Morris and stars Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Catherine McCormack, Dougray Scott, Harry Trevaldwyn, Esmé Kingdom, Poppy Gilbert and Nikhil Parmar. The romantic comedy drama is based on Julia Whelan’s novel of the same name and follows an ambitious young American woman who sets out for Oxford University to fulfill a childhood dream, when she meets a charming and clever local who profoundly alters both of their lives. The film is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
