Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the South African Netflix original series Marked. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Joel Assaizky (Vaya, White Wedding, Soon Comes Night). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 1 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Marked is created by Steven Pillemer, Sydney Dire & Akin Omotoso and stars Lerato Mvelase, Sphamandla Dhludhlu, S’dumo Mtshali, Bonko Khoza, Ama Qamata, Natasha Thahane and Desmond Dube. The 6-part thriller follows a a cash-in-transit vehicle security guard who is desperate to pay for her daughter’s life-saving surgery and turns to an unholy savior to help her stage a daring heist. The series is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
