G&F Pictures has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Trifole. The album features the film’s score adapted (from classical works by Ottorino Respighi, Alexander Borodin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Alexander Glazunov, Gioachino Rossini & Frederick Deliu) and conducted by Alberto Mandarini and performed by Bartolomeo Bruni Symphonic Orchestra. Trifole is co-written and directed by Gabriele Fabbro and stars Ydalie Turk, Umberto Orsini, Birba, Margherita Buy and Enzo Iacchetti. The movie follows a woman who travels to Piedmont to care for her aging grandfather and – armed with his field notes and loyal dog – searches for a prizewinning truffle to save his home. The drama opened in Italian theaters last fall and has recently been picked up by Cohen Media Group for a domestic release in the coming months.
