Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the British biographical drama Mr. Burton. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Hardy (Hidden, A Dark Place, Tree on a Hill, Steel Country, Hegus, Hinterland) and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s end credits track below. Mr. Burton is directed by Marc Evans and stars Toby Jones, Harry Lawtey and Lesley Manville. The movie and tells the true story of the the relationship between Welsh schoolmaster Philip Burton and a wild young schoolboy called Richard Jenkins, later to become the world-famous screen legend Richard Burton. The drama opened in UK theaters this past April. No word yet on a domestic release.
