MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the Vietnamese supernatural thriller Detective Kien: The Headless Horror. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Wong (Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass, Sword of the Assassin, The Immortal, Maika: The Girl from Another Galaxy) and Ian Rees & Garrett Crosby (The Last Wife, Girl from the Past, The Royal Bride). Detective Kien: The Headless Horror is directed by Victor Vũ and stars Quoc Huy, Dinh Ngoc Diep and Quoc Anh. The movie is set against the backdrop of 19th Century Vietnam during the Nguyễn Dynasty and follows a detective investigating the mystery of a headless corpse that sends shockwaves through a rural village. The thriller just opened in Vietnamese theaters last week and is set to come out in several other international markets in the coming months.
