Platoon has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Surface. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Tóti Guðnason (Lamb, Cold Copy, Deliver Us, Azrael) and produced by Ólafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Moonhaven, Electric Dreams, Gimme Shelter, Chasing the Present). Mercury KX has previously released an album featuring Arnalds’ music from Season 1 back in 2022. Surface is created by Veronica West and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Millie Brady, Phil Dunster, Rupert Graves, Gavin Drea, Tara Fitzgerald, Joely Richardson, Nina Sosanya and Freida Pinto. Season 2 of the psychological thriller executive produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine premiered in February and new episodes are currently dropping every Friday on Apple TV+.
