Composer Jared Michael Fry (Safehouse) is reuniting with writer/director David Ayer (Training Day, Suicide Squad, Fury) on the upcoming action thriller A Working Man. The film starring Jason Statham, Michael Peña, David Harbour, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Cokey Falkow, Maximilian Osinski, Noemi Gonzalez, Emmett J. Scanlan, Arianna Rivas & Eve Mauro follows a man who has left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction, but is forced to unretire when his boss’s daughter is taken by human traffickers. Ayer also co-wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone based on the book Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon. Ayer, Stallone & Statham are also producing the project with Chris Long (The Tax Collector, Loudermilk), John Friedberg (Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, Ferrari), Bill Block (Halloween, The Holdovers) and Kevin King Templeton (Creed, The Expendables). Fry has previously shared scoring credit on Ayer’s last feature, The Beekeeper, with David Sardy. A Working Man will be released in theaters nationwide on March 28, 2025 by Amazon MGM Studios.
