Michael Andrews (Donnie DarkoBridesmaids, NeighborsDaddy’s Home, Freaks & Geeks,Piece by Piece, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Funny People, Bad Teacher) has provided the original score for the new Peacock original series Laid. The show is developed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Young Rock) & Sally Bradford McKenna (Son of Zorn) based on the Australian series of the same title and stars Stephanie Hsu, Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez. The romantic comedy follows a woman who finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward. Khan, Bradford McKenna & Hsu are also executive producing the Universal Television production with John Davis (Predator, I, Robot) and John Fox (Jungle Cruise, The Equalizer) for Davis Entertainment, Jennifer Carreras (Young Rock) for Fierce Baby, as well as Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Watts (Animal Kingdom, The King) for Porchlight Films. Andrews has previously collaborated with Khan on her two feature directorial efforts, Always Be My Maybe and Totally Killer. Laid will premiere this Thursday, December 19 exclusively on Peacock.

Andrews also continues to score Apple TV+’s Platonic, which will return for a second season.
