Sun Pictures has released a score album for the Indian neo-noir action thriller Raayan. The album features the film’s original “background” score composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Lagaan, Couples Retreat, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Blinded by the Light, Viceroy’s House). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composers first track (Raayan’s Lullaby) after the jump. A separate EP featuring the songs from the movie was released this past July. Raayan is written and directed by Dhanush and stars Dhanush himself, Dushara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan, Kalidas Jayaram and Aparna Balamurali. The movie follows a young man who trains to avenge the murder of his family and whose quest leads him through the criminal underworld. The thriller was released in theaters worldwide this past summer and is now available to stream in the U.S. on Prime Video.
