Plaza Mayor Company has released for the French comedy drama The Marching Band (En fanfare). The album features the film’s original music composed by Michel Petrossian (And the Party Goes On). The Marching Band is co-written and directed by Emmanuel Courcol and stars Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Lottin and Sarah Suco. The movie follows an internationally renowned conductor who learns that he was adopted and discovers the existence of a younger brother who works in a school cafeteria and plays the trombone in a marching band. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and has just opened in French yesterday last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
