Composer Ben Onono (Half of a Yellow Sun, Ridley Road, Spell, Paranoid, Safe, Trust Me) is reuniting with author/writer/producer Harlan Coben on the upcoming British Netflix limited series Missing You. The show is based on Coben’s novel of the same name and stars Rosalind Eleazar, Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, Jessica Plummer, Sir Lenny Henry, Marc Warren, Steve Pemberton, Samantha Spiro, Lisa Faulkner, Mary Malone and James Nesbitt. The 5-part mystery thriller follows a detective who matches on a dating app with the fiancé who disappeared years before and forces her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past. Coben (The Stranger, Harlan Coben’s Shelter) is also executive producing the Quay Street production with Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, Danny Brocklehurst Nicola Shindler (It’s a Sin, Years and Years), Richard Fee (Stay Close, Fool Me Once), Danny Brocklehurst (Brassic, In the Dark), as well as Victoria Asare-Archer who also serves as the project’s lead writer. Onono has previously collaborated with Coben on the 2018 series Safe. Missing You will premiere on January 1, 2025 exclusively on Netflix.
