Walt Disney Records will release a second soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ feature Moana 2. The album features all of the film’s original songs written by Abigail Barlow & Emily Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical), Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina (Tarzan, Twister, Bad Boys, Speed, August Rush, Brother Bear). Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Mancina, as well as six instrumental versions of the songs. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 25. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The original album featuring the songs was released digitally and physically this past Friday. Moana 2 is directed by Dave Derrick Jr., co-directed by Jason Hand and stars Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Gerald Faitala Ramsey, Alan Tudyk, Hualālai Chung, Awhimai Fraser, Rose Matafeo, Awhimai Fraser, David Fane, Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda, Temuera Morrison and Nicole Scherzinger. The animated sequel will be released in theaters nationwide this coming Wednesday, November 27 by Walt Disney Records.
