Varese Sarabande will release a new soundtrack album for the 2002 superhero movie Blade II directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Ron Perlman, Norman Reedus, Leonor Varela and Luke Goss. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Logan, Ford v. Ferrari, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker, A Quiet Place, World War Z), including around an hour of previously unreleased music. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 15 and a CD version will also be available to order on the label’s official website on the same day. Varese has previously released the original 2002 score album, while Immortal Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from and inspired by the movie. Blade II is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
