Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album for the political thriller The Seed of the Sacred Fig. The album features the film’s original music composed by Karzan Mahmood (Bullets, Agent Hamilton, Zero Nine, The Lawyer). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (The Prayer) after the jump. The Seed of the Sacred Fig is written and directed by Mohammad Rasoulof and stars Misagh Zare, Soheila Golestani, Mahsa Rostami, Niousha Akhshi, Setareh Maleki, Reza Akhlaghi, Amineh Arani and Shiva Ordooe. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, already opened in French theaters last month and will be released in select U.S. theaters on November 27 by Neon.
