Chanda Dancy (Blink Twice, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Devotion, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Aftershock, The Defeated) has been hired to score the upcoming comedy One of Them Days. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Lawrence Lamont and stars Keke Palmer, SZA, Maude Apatow, Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James and Katt Williams. The movie follows two best friends and roommates as they discover that the boyfriend of one of them has blown their rent money and find themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact. Syreeta Singleton (Rap Sh!t) wrote the screenplay. Issa Rae (Insecure) is producing the Macro Media and Hoorae Media production with Deniese Davis, Sara Rastogi, James Lopez (What Men Want, The Photograph) and Poppy Hanks (Raising Dion, Blue Bayou). One of Them Days will be released in theaters nationwide on January 24, 2025 by Sony Pictures.
