RTL Music Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the German limited series I Am Scrooge (Ich bin Dagobert). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Michael Klaukien (Goebbels and the Fuhrer, Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood, Hotel Europa, Reformation). I Am Scrooge is written by Ronny Schalk, directed by Hannu Salonen and stars Friedrich Mücke, Mišel Matičević, Sonja Gerhardt, Doğuhan Kabadayı, Moritz Führmann, Carol Rovira, Ronald Kukulies, Martin Feifel, Clelia Sarto, Karsten Antonio Mielke and Tobias Schenke The 6-part drama and tells the story of department store extortionist Arno Funke, also known under the pseudonym “Scrooge McDuck” (Dagobert), who planted bombs, fooled the police and blackmailed department stores in the early 1990sThe series is premiering in Germany today on RTL+ before making its debut in several international markets in the coming months.
