Caitlin Yeo (Danger Close, Bad Behaviour, Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story, The Butterfly Tree, The Rocket) has provided the original score for the new Australian Disney+ original series Last Days of the Space Age. The show is created by David Chidlow and stars Radha Mitchell, Jesse Spencer, Deborah Mailman, Iain Glen, Linh-Dan Pham, Thomas Weatherall, George Mason, Vico Thai, Ines English and Jacek Koman. The 8-part comedy drama is set in 1979 Western Australia and follows three families in a tight-knit coastal community who find their marriages, friendships and futures put to the test. Chidlow is also executive producing the project with Laura Waters (Lunatics) and Emma Fitzsimons (Koala Man) for Princess Pictures, alongside Chris Loveall (Nautilus), Stephanie Swedlove (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay), Anna Dokoza (Special, Here and Now) as well as Bharat Nalluri (Boy Swallows Universe, The Crow: Salvation) who also directed the first episodes. Last Days of the Space Age will premiere tomorrow, October 2 internationally on Disney+ and in the U.S. on Hulu.

Yeo’s other recent projects include Sally Aitken’s documentary Every Little Thing, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
