Duncan Blickenstaff (It Ends with Us, Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Outmatched) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original series Nobody Wants This. The show is created by Erin Foster (Barely Famous) and stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock and Jackie Tohn. The comedy follows an agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi who fall in love and have to navigate their differing outlooks on life and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families. Foster & Bell are also executive producing the project with Steven Levitan (Modern Family, Just Shoot Me), Craig DiGregorio (Ash vs Evil Dead, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World), Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk (Veronica Mars, iZombie), Jeff Morton (Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23) and Jack Burditt (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), as well as Oly Obst (The Resident, The Lovebirds) for 3arts. Blickenstaff has previously scored the Levitan- & Morton-produced TV shows Reboot, LA to Vegas and Maggie. Nobody Wants This will premiere tomorrow, September 26 exclusively on Netflix.
