The Future with Bill Gates. The show follows the visionary philanthropist as he delves into pressing global issues and uncovers cutting-edge technologies that will transform the world. Across five five episodes, Gates delves into the promise and risks of A.I.; the pervasive challenge of misinformation in an era of social media; the scale of the climate crisis and the potential of new technologies to solve it; the injustice of income inequalityL and how science and innovation is leading to cures for deadly diseases. Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, 20 Feet from Stardom), Caitrin Rogers (Miss Americana, The Black Godfather) and Eve Marson (Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, Fed Up) are executive producing the Tremolo production, which features insight and commentary from Bono, James Cameron, Lady Gaga, Anthony Fauci, Mark Cuban, Phoebe Gates, Greg Brockman, Senators Bernie Sanders & Mitt Romney, among others. As previously reported, Deacon also has Kelly Marcel’s Venom: The Last Dance (to be released in theaters on October 25) and Sydney Freeland’s Rez Ball (to be released in select theaters on September 13 before premiering on September 27 on Netflix).
