Walt Disney Records will release the first soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ live-action Star Wars series The Acolyte. The album features the original music from the first four episodes of the show composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Nope, Us, Bad Education, The Burial, See You Yesterday, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Breaking). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 21. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream the album and also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The label has previously released Victoria Monét’s original song Power of Two (co-written by Abels) last week. A second album featuring the composer’s score from Episodes 4-8 will be coming out on July 19. The Acolyte is created by Leslye Headland and stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, Rebecca Henderson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Charlie Barnett, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo and Carrie-Anne Moss. The first four episodes of the series are now available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
