Platoon will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ limited series Franklin. The album features selections of the shpw’s original music composed by Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Indignation, Swan Song, We Grown Now, I Carry You with Me, Fire Island, Tales from the City). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Franklin is written by Kirk Ellis & Howard Korder based on Stacy Schiff’s book A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America and stars Michael Douglas, Noah Jupe, Thibault de Montalembert, Daniel Mays, Ludivine Sagnier, Eddie Marsan, Assaad Bouab, Jeanne Balibar and Theodore Pellerin. The 8-part historical drama directed by Tim Van Patten tells the story of Benjamin Franklin’s greatest gamble when he embarks on a secret eight-year mission to France in 1776 as the fate of American independence hangs in the balance. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Apple TV+
