Ramin Djawadi (Westworld, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Eternals, Uncharted, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time) is the composer of the upcoming Netflix original series 3 Body Problem. The show is created by David Benioff (25th Hour, The Kite Runner), D.B. Weiss (The Chair), Alexander Woo (True Blood, The Terror) based on Liu Cixin’s bestselling book trilogy and stars Jess Hong, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jovan Adepo, Benedict Wong, Jonathan Pryce, Alex Sharp, Rosalind Chao and John Bradley. The sci-fi drama follows a a close-knit group of brilliant scientists who join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.. Benioff, Weiss & Woo are also executive producing the project with Bernadette Caulfield (Big Love, The Nevers), T-Street’s Rian Johnson & Ram Bergman (Knives Out, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Nena Rodrigue (Poker Face), Yoozoo Group’s Lin Qi, Zhao Jilong, Xiaosong Gao, Lauren Ma. Plan B Entertainment’s Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner & Dede Gardner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight), as well as Primitive Streak’s Rosamund Pike and Robie Uniacke. Djawadi has previously collaborated with Benioff and Weiss on HBO’s Game of Thrones and the Netflix film Metal Lords. 3 Body Problem will premiere on March 21, 2024 on Netflix.
Djawadi’s other upcoming projects include Prime Video’s Fallout and Pixar’s Disney+ series Win or Lose, as well as Season 2 of HBO’s House of the Dragon.
