Neil Davidge (Halo 4, Unleashed, Push, Britannia, Earth Moods, Monsters: Dark Continent, Good People) and Mikey J Asante (Queen Cleopatra) have composed the original music for the new British Apple TV+ original series Criminal Record. The show is created by Paul Rutman (Next of Kin, Indian Summers) and stars Peter Capaldi, Cush Jumbo, Charlie Creed-Miles, Shaun Dooley, Dionne Brown, Stephen Campbell Moore, Zoë Wanamaker, Maisie Ayres, Rasaq Kukoyi, Aysha Kala, Cathy Tyson and Tom Moutchi. The 8-part crime thriller follows two detectives, one a well-connected man determined to protect his legacy and the other a young woman in the early stages of her career, as they are drawn into a confrontation over an old murder case. Capaldi & Jumbo are also executive producing the Tod and STV Studios production with Elaine Collins (Shetland, Vera). Jim Loach (Oranges and Sunshine, Measure of a Man) has directed the first episodes. Criminal Record will premiere next Wednesday, January 10 exclusively on Apple TV+.
