Composer Sam Ewing (The Walking Dead, Last Seen Alive, The Shed, Victor Crawley) is reteaming with director Roger Kumble on the upcoming romantic drama Beautiful Wedding. The film is the sequel to this year’s Ewing-scored feature Beautiful Disaster and stars Dylan Sprouse, Virginia Gardner, Austin North, Steven Bauer, Libe Barer, Neil Bishop, Kyle Richards and Rob Estes. The movie based on the book of the same title by Jenny McGuire follows Abby and Travis after they wake up after a crazy night in Vegas as accidental newlyweds and travel to Mexico for a wild honeymoon. Kumble (Cruel Intentions, Just Friends) also wrote the screenplay and is producing the Voltage Pictures production with Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Killer Joe), Brian Pitt & Jonathan Deckter (After series, See You on Venus) and David Shojai. Ewing’s score from Beautiful Disaster was released earlier this year by Sparks & Shadows. Beautiful Wedding will be released in theaters nationwide for two nights only on January 24 & 25, 2024 by Fathom Events before making its streaming debut in the following weeks.
