Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1981 British horror thriller Venom directed by Piers Haggard and starring Sterling Hayden, Klaus Kinski, Sarah Miles, Nicol Williamson, Oliver Reed, Cornelia Sharpe, Susan George and Lance Holcomb. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, X-Men, Lethal Weapon, The Three Musketeers, The Iron Giant, Mr. Holland’s Opus) who recorded his score with the National Philharmonic Orchestra. The CD is limited to 1,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find more about the release. Venom is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
