BMM Records has released a soundtrack album for the French-Canadian romantic comedy The Nature of Love (Simple comme Sylvain). The album features the film’s original music composed by Forever Pavot (aka Emile Sornin) (Babysitter, Faithful). The Nature of Love is written and directed by Monia Chokri and stars Magalie Lépine-Blondeau, Pierre-Yves Cardinal, Francis-William Rhéaume and Chokri herself. The movie revolves around a married 40-something professor who embarks on a steamy and all-consuming affair with a charming handyman at her new chalet. The comedy, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in Canadian theaters this past September and has just been released in French theaters last Wednesday.
