Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1980 sci-fi cult classic Battle Beyond the Stars directed by Jimmy T. Murakami and starring Richard Thomas, Robert Vaughn, John Saxon, George Peppard, Sybil Danning and Darlanne Fluegel. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the Roger Corman production composed by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Avatar, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, Field of Dreams, Aliens, The Amazing Spider-Man), including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set, which features the complete score on the first disc and a remastered version of the 1980 original soundtrack album on the second disc, is now available to order on Amazon and the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples. A digital version will be available to stream/download here. Battle Beyond the Stars is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
