Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, Poldark, American History X, The Crying Game, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, The Hustle, Benedetta) has composed the original music for the new Apple TV+ holiday special The Velveteen Rabbit. The live-action animated hybrid special is based on the children’s book of the same name by Margery Williams and stars Phoenix Laroche and features the voice talent fo Alex Lawther (in the title role), Helena Bonham Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Bethany Antonia, Paterson Joseph, Lois Chimimba, Clive Rowe, Tilly Vosburgh, Nathaniel Parker, Samantha Colley and Leonard Buckley. The Magic Light Pictures production tells the story of a 7-year-old boy who discovers a lifelong friend when he receives a new favorite toy for Christmas and unlocks a world of magic. Tom Bidwell (My Mad Fat Diary, Wish 143) wrote the screenplay and Martin Pope (The Gruffalo, Revolting Rhymes) is producing the project. The Velveteen Rabbit will premiere on November 22, 2023 exclusively on Apple TV+.
