Dan Marocco (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Demonic, Brotherhood, Boys of Abu Ghraib, Flipped) is scoring the new Freevee original series Primo. The show is created by Shea Serrano and stars Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Johnny Rey Diaz, Christina Vidal, Martin Martinez, Jonathan Medina, Henri Esteve, Nigel Siwabessy, Carlos Santos, Efrain Villa and Stakiah Lynn Washington. The coming-of-age comedy follows a wide-eyed teenager as he balances college aspirations, societal expectations, and a hectic home life on the south side of San Antonio. Serrano is also executive producing the Amazon Studios and Universal Television production with Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation, The Good Place), David Miner (Never Have I Ever, Master of None), Morgan Sackett (Hacks, Veep), Peter Murrieta (Mr. Iglesias) and Lisa Muse Bryant (Kenan). Marocco has previously scored all episodes of the Schur-produced comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Primo will premiere this coming Friday, May 19 on Amazon Freevee.
