The full details of the soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s feature Forgotten Island have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nathan Matthew David (Joy Ride, Deadly Class, Chang Can Dunk,Young Rock, The Brothers Sun, The Last Word, Stephen Curry: Underrated, Slice). Also included are the songs from the movie (two of which are already available to stream/download now) performed by BINI, H.E.R., Liza Soberano, SB19 and others. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 18 by Back Lot Music (click here to pre-order). Mutant will release a CD version, audio cassette and vinyl edition, which all are also available for pre-order on Amazon. Forgotten Island is written and directed by Joel Crawford & Januel Mercado and stars H.E.R., Soberano, Dave Franco, Dolly de Leon, Jenny Slate, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng, Manny Jacinto and Lea Salonga. The animated adventure follows two high school graduates and best friends who are now about to embark on separate life paths, when they stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to a fantastical island, packed with magical and mythological creatures they grew up hearing stories about from their Filipino families.
. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on September 25 by Universal Pictures.
