Varèse Sarabande has announced three new 40th Anniversary vinyl reissues of the original soundtrack album for the 1986 sci-fi action/horror classic Aliens written and directed by James Cameron and starring Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen and Carrie Henn. The album featuring the film’s original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, An American Tail, Legends of the Fall, The Amazing Spider-Man) and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra will be released as a wide 40th-Anniversary Edition LP on Silver color vinyl, a Barnes & Noble Exclusive 40th-Anniversary Edition LP on “Alien Green” color vinyl, and a Varèse Sarabande 40th-Anniversary Edition LP on “Xenomorph Glow” glow in the dark vinyl on November 13.
