Anthony Willis (Wuthering Heights, Saltburn, Promising Young Woman, Violent Ends, How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming) has provided the original score for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Soulm8te. The film is written and directed by Kate Dolan (You Are Not My Mother) and stars Lily Sullivan, David Rysdahl, Claudia Doumit, Elijah Cook, Arty Froushan, Emma Ramos, Mara Huf, Jon Tarcy, Isabelle Bonfrer and Ossian Perret. The spinoff to 2022’s hit feature M3GAN (scored by Willis) follows a grieving engineer who gets tasked with testing a ruthless tech giant’s new AI companion, but when he attempts to program her to be a truly sentient soulmate, she develops needs of her own. Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween) and James Wan (The Conjuring, Aquaman) are producing the Blumhouse & Atomic Monster production. Soulm8te will be released on August 1, 2026 on VOD by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
