Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack EP for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ short Versa. The 5-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Haim Mazar (Scary Movie, The Iceman, Sneakerheads, Woke, Desperation Road, The Taking of Deborah Logan, Self Help, I Am Wrath) who recorded his score with a 65-piece orchestra. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s “overture” track after the jump. Versa is written and directed by Malcon Pierce and follows a young couple who experience a gamut of emotions from grief and loss to ultimate joy as they embark on an ethereal “cosmic dance of life.” The short, which received an awards-qualifying theatrical run at the El Capitan Theatre last summer before premiering at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, just made it streaming debut last Friday on Disney+.
