Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, The Lost City, Stargirl, Shotgun Wedding, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Loney Planet, Family Switch, Slumberland) is returning to score the upcoming animated sequel Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. The Backstreet Boys have contributed a new song (entitled Bottle Up) to the film, which is directed by Cal Brunker (Escape from Planet Earth) and features the voices of Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Meredith MacNeill, Jennifer Hudson, Ron Pardo, Hayden Chemberlen, Jameela Jamil, Fortune Feimster, Rain Janjua, Paris Hilton, Bill Nye, Henry Bolan, Lucien Duncan-Reid, Nylan Parthipan, William Desrosiers and Snoop Dogg. The movie follows the title characters as they crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs, where they meet a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related. Brunker also co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Barlen (The Nut Job 2, Arctic Dogs). Jennifer Dodge is producing the Spin Master Entertainment production with Laura Clunie and Toni Stevens . Toprak has previously scored the 2023 sequel PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, while Heitor Pereira composed the music for the 2021 original film. Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie will be released in theaters nationwide on August 14, 2026 by Paramount Pictures.
Toprak is also expected to return to co-score the second season of Netflix’s Bad Thoughts.
