Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hold Your Breath, Uzumaki, Color Out of Space, The First) has recently scored the new Netflix limited series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. The show is created by Haley Z Boston and stars Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jeff Wilbusch, Ted Levine, Gus Birney, Sawyer Fraser and Karla Crome. The 8-part horror drama is set at a wedding and follows a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. Boston is also executive producing the project with Hilary Leavitt and Matt & Ross Duffer (Stranger Things, The Buroughs) for Upside Down Productions, as well as Andrea Sperling (Transparent, Like Crazy). Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen will premiere next Friday, March 27 exclusively on Netflix.
As previously reported, Stetson’s other recent projects include Miko Lim’s IMAX documentary Stormbound, which just premiered at the SXSW Film Festival last weekend.
