Jeff Russo (Fargo, Alien: Earth, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Ripley, Legion, Zero Day, The Night Of, The Man Who Feel to Earth) has been tapped to score the second season of the Prime Video original series Citadel. The show is created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh & David Weil and stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. The new season of the spy thriller is set one month after the events of Season 1 and follows Mason Kane, Nadia Sinh & Bernard Orlick as they’re being hunted by Manticore agents around the world and are pulled out of hiding to join forces with a new team of unconventional spies. Anthony & Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) are executive producing the AGBO production with Weil (Hunters, Invasion), Angela Russo-Otstot (Extraction II, The Electric State) and Scott Nemes (Hanna). Joe Russo is also directing the new season. Alex Belcher has previously scored 2023’s first season with Henry Jackman serving as the score producer. Season 2 of Citadel is expected to premiere this year on Prime Video.
