Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1997 crime drama Cop Land written and directed by James Mangold and starring Sylvester Stallone, Harvey Keitel, Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Janeane Garofalo, Peter Berg, Robert Patrick, Michael Rapaport and Annabella Sciorra. The album features the expanded and newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Silence of the Lambs, The Aviator, Hugo, The Hobbit, The Departed, The Fly, Mrs. Doubtfire, Big, A History of Violence) and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included are numerous alternate cues. The 2-CD set, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the soundtrack. Milan Records has previously released the original 1997 soundtrack album. Cop Land is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
