Darian Sahanaja (of Wondermints) is making his feature scoring debut on the upcoming documentary Lorne. The film is directed by Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, 20 Feet from Stardom) and takes a behind-the-scenes glimpse at Lorne Michaels, the man who built the inimitable empire of comedy, shaping television and culture for generations. The movie features exclusive footage, archival treasures, and interviews with Saturday Night Live!‘s most iconic cast members and writers including Tina Fey, John Mulaney, Conan O’Brien, Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg, Chris Rock, among other. Neville is also producing the Tremolo production with Lauren Belfer (Spermworld, Thank You Very Much). Sahanaja has previously the first part of Neville’s Apple TV documentary STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces. His other previous scoring credits include Disney Channel’s The Replacements and Disney XD’s Future-Worm!. Lorne will be released in theaters on April 17, 2026 by Focus Features.
