Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted MetalPitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Obliterated, Florida Man) have composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Pizza Movie. The film is written and directed by Brian McElhaney & Nick Kocher and stars Gaten Matarazzo, Sean Giambrone, Lulu Wilson, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jack Martin, Marcus Scribner, Sarah Sherman, Caleb Hearon, Miguel-Andres Garcia and Justin Cooley. The movie follows a shy college student and his roommate as they set out on a simple mission to grab pizza, but after a strange dose of a mind-bending experimental drug, they’re thrust into a chaotic night of wild hallucinations, absurd encounters, and unexpected revelations that could change their lives forever.Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer, Murder Mystery 2) & Will Phelps (Big Time Adolescence, Banana Split) are producing the project for American High, alongside All Things Comedy’s Billy Rosenberg (Brigsby Bear), as well as Jason Zaro, Molle DeBartolo (Prom Dates, Miguel Wants to Fight), Max A. Butler (A Little Prayer) and Matt Whelan. Pizza Movie will premiere next week at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival and will make its streaming debut on April 3 on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ in most international markets.

Birenberg’s & Robinson’s other upcoming feature projects include Eric Appel’s The Breadwinner, which will be released in theaters nationwide on May 29 by Sony Pictures (pushed back from its original March 13 date). They also continue to score the Disney+ animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which will return for a second season.
