Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The Undoing, Baby Reindeer, Kraven the Hunter, Radioactive, Scenes from a Marriage, Loveless, The Family, Wizard of Lies) have composed the original music for the upcoming drama At the Sea. The film is directed by Kornél Mundruczó (Jupiter’s Moon, Pieces of a Woman, White God) and stars Amy Adams, Murray Bartlett, Chloe East, Dan Levy, Brett Goldstein, Jenny Slate, Redding L. Munsell and Rainn Wilson. The movie follows a woman who she returns to her family at their holiday beach home following a long rehabilitation and must readjust to the complicated life she left behind. Kata Wéber (who scripted the director’s last couple of features) wrote the screenplay. Mundruczó is also producing the project with Alexander Rodnyansky (Leviathan, Machete Kills), Aaron Ryder (Arrival, The Prestige), Andrew Swett (All of You, Deep Murder), Stuart Manashil (City of Lies, To Catch a Killer) and Alex Lebovici (Bill & Ted Face the Music, Boy Kills World). At the Sea will premiere this month at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival.
The composers’ other upcoming projects include the Dutch/Belgian/French drama Truly Naked written and directed by Muriel d’Ansembourg and starring Caolán O’Gorman, Andrew Howard, Alessa Savage, Lyndsey Marshal and Safiya Benaddi. The movie revolves around an introverted teenager raised in the orbit of his father’s adult entertainment business who relocates with his family from London to a quiet seaside town, where he meets a fiercely independent and feminist young woman whose world view could not be further from the one that he grew up with. Els Vandevorst (Brimstone, Winter in Wartime) and Isabella Depeweg are producing the project. Truly Naked will also premiere at this year’s Berlin Film Festival.
