Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror movie Primate. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Kinky Boots, Lassie, Brideshead Revisited, Dancing on the Edge, The Child in Time, A Very Royal Scandal, The Tunnel). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 9 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Primate is co-written and directed by Johannes Roberts and stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, Troy Kotsur, Benjamin Cheng, Gia Hunter, Victoria Wyant, Tienne Simon and Charlie Mann. The 18Hz production follows a group of friends whose tropical vacation turns into a terrifying tale of horror and survival when a pet chimpanzee becomes a homicidal monster after being bitten by a rabid animal. The movie is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Paramount Pictures.
