Andrew Orkin (Save Yourselves!, Materna, The Graduates, Lucky Grandma) and Joseph Shirley (Creed III, The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Fairfax, Bad Trip, The Underdoggs, The Mysterious Benedict Society) have composed the original music for the upcoming satirical thriller The Gallerist. The film is directed by Cathy Yan (Birds of Prey) and stars Natalie Portman, Jenna Ortega, Sterling K. Brown, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Zach Galifianakis and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The movie follows a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead body at Art Basel Miami. Yan also co-wrote the screenplay with James Pedersen (High Heat). Portman is also producing the project with Ash Sarohia (Killing Gunther, The Phoenix Incident) Sophie Mas (May December, Lady in the Lake), Jonathan King (Stillwater, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie), Tom McCarthy (Spotlight, The Station Agent), Rae Baron and Zola Elgart Glassman. Orkin has previously collaborated with Yan on the director’s first feature, Dead Pigs, and several shorts. The Gallerist will premiere this month at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
