Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Uruguayan psychological thriller Subsuelo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Maite Arroitajauregi (Irati, Foremost by Night, Mercenario). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s “credits” track after the jump. Subsuelo is co-written and directed by Fernando Franco and stars Julia Martínez, Diego Garisa, Nacho Sánchez, Montse Díez, Iñigo de la Iglesia, Itzan Escamilla and Sonia Almarcha. The movie is based on Marcelo Luján‘s novel of the same name and follows two young twin siblings who become involved in a tragic accident one summer night, but the circumstances seem to be known only by themselves and their mother. The thriller premiered at last year’s Valladolid International Film Festival and was released in Spanish theaters in November. No word yet on a domestic release.
