Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless, Lessons in Chemistry, Griselda, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Ezra, Chupa, Just Beyond) has recently scored the upcoming horror/action comedy They Will Kill You. The film is directed by Kirill Sokolov (No Looking Back, Why Don’t You Just Die) and stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Tom Felton, Paterson Joseph, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette. The movie revolves around a young woman who must survive the night at a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering. Sokolov also co-wrote the screenplay with Alex Litvak (Predators, The Three Musketeers). Andy Muschietti & Barbara Muschietti (It, The Flash) and Dan Kagan (Longlegs, Boy Kills World) are producing the New Line Cinema and Nocturna production. They Will Kill You will be released in theaters nationwide on March 27, 2026 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Rivera is also expected to return to score the second season of Netflix’s Dept. Q and co-score the fifth and final season of HBO Max’s Hacks.
