Milan Records & Paramount Music will release the official soundtrack album for the animated feature The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Elf, Iron Man 2, The Emperor’s New Groove, The Jungle Book, Hocus Pocus) who previously scored 2015’s The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants is directed by Derek Drymon and features the voices of Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence, Bill Fagerbakke, Mr. Lawrence, Regina Hall, Ice Spice (who also contributed the original song Big Guy), Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, George Lopez and Mark Hamill. The fourth theatrical SpongeBob movie based on the TV series created by Stephen Hillenburg will be released in theaters nationwide on December 19 by Paramount Pictures.
