B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Love Me Tender. The album features the film’s original music composed by Maxence Dussère (Wild Seas, Little Jaffna, Houria, De Grace). Love Me Tender is written and directed by Anna Cazenave Cambet and stars Vicky Krieps, Antoine Reinartz, Viggo Ferreira-Redier and Monia Chokri. The movie is based on Constance Debré’s autobiographical novel and follows a woman whose life is turned upside down when her ex-husband takes custody of her son after she tells him that she’s having romantic relationships with women. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival (as part of the Un Certain Regard section) and just opened in French theaters this past Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic release date.
