Believe has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese/French sci-fi drama Resurrection. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anthony Gonzalez as M83 (Oblivion, Knife + Heart, You and the Night). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the duo’s title track after the jump. Resurrection is written and directed by Bi Gan and stars Jackson Yee, Shu Qi and Mark Chao. The movie is set in a future where humanity has surrendered its ability to dream in exchange for immortality and tells the story of an outcast who finds illusion, nightmarish visions, and beauty in an intoxicating world of his own making. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in Chinese theaters last month and will be released in select U.S. theaters this Friday, December 12 by Janus Films.
