MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the drama Park Avenue. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliott, Quills, Proof, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Indian Summers). Also included is the original song Black Sun by Isaac Waddington (previously released as a digital single), as well as Mathilda Florence’s cover of The Velvet Underground’s Sweet Jane. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first two score tracks and Sweet Jane below. Quartet Records will release a CD version. Park Avenue is co-written and directed by Gaby Dellal and stars Fiona Shaw, Katherine Waterston and Chaske Spencer. The movie follows a woman who runs away from her controlling husband and isolating life as a rancher and returns to the apartment of her mother in an affluent building on the titular street. The drama premiered at this year’s Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Dublin Film Festival and was released in select UK and Irish theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release date.
