Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Edgar Wright’s sci-fi action thriller The Running Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Fury, Our Planet, Last Night in Soho, The Aeronauts, Suicide Squad, Over the Moon, Baby Driver, My Policeman, Heads of State, Heart of Stone). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. A vinyl release is also expected. The Running Man is co-written and directed by Wright and stars Glen Powell, Josh Brolin, Colman Domingo, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Jayme Lawson and Daniel Ezra. The movie follows a working-class father desperate to save his sick daughter who enters a deadly television game show competition where contestants must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins and whose instincts, defiance and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite – and a threat to the entire system. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide this coming weekend by Paramount Pictures.
