Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Good Fortune. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Carter Burwell (The Banshees of Inisherin, Carol, Fargo, True Grit, The Blind Side, Twilight, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Anomalisa). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Good Fortune is written and directed by Aziz Ansari and stars Seth Rogen, Ansari himself, Keanu Reeves, Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh. The movie revolves around a well-meaning but rather inept angel dissatisfied with performing minor acts of divine intervention as he attempts to improve the lives of several struggling mortals. The comedy premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Lionsgate.
